1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to G1-Buddy! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the rules for using our website, practice tests, and other services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use our Service.

2. Who Can Use Our Service

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service, which is the minimum age required to apply for a G1 license in Ontario. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service and that they have read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. If a subscription is purchased, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges they are responsible for any subscription fees you incur.

3. Our Service

G1-Buddy offers a suite of online tools to help you prepare for the G1 driving test in Ontario. This includes practice questions, practice test (g1 test simulation), answer explanations, progress dashboard and analysis, infomation and guide for the G1 test (test basics, how to prepare, Test Day and After the test), tool for finding test centers and any other service present on the website. Some of our features are free, while others require a paid subscription to access premium content.

4. Accounts, Subscriptions, and Payments
4.1 Account Creation

To access most features, you'll need to create an account. You promise that the information you provide during signup is true and that you will keep it accurate and up-to-date.

4.2 Subscription Services

We offer paid subscription plans for access to our premium features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (such as weekly or monthly). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless it is cancelled by you.

4.3 Payment and Billing

We use secure third-party payment processors to handle all payments. By subscribing, you agree to their terms and conditions. G1-Buddy is not responsible for any issues that arise from the payment processing itself.

4.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation:You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account subscribtion management. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. We do not offer refunds for renewal charges that have already been processed.

Refund Policy:Except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in this policy, all purchases are final and non-refundable. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund in rare cases, such as for a technical issue with our Service that we are unable to fix. To request a refund, you must contact our support team. We do not provide refunds for having second thoughts, making erroneous purchases.

Chargebacks: You agree to contact us first to resolve any payment issues. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us is a violation of these terms and may result in the termination of your account and you will be responsible for any resulting losses or fees.

5. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Service for your personal, non-commercial study purposes. Under this license, you may not:

6. Disclaimers
6.1. “As-Is” and “As-Available”

The Site and all content, services and features provided through it (collectively, the “Service”) are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

This Service is intended solely for educational and practice purposes. We make no guarantee or promise that use of the Service, or reliance on any information contained herein, will lead to passing the G1 test. Your success depends on many factors outside our control, including your own diligence and the evolving content of MTO’s official exam.

6.3. Educational Only; Not Professional Advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, driving-instruction, or other professional advice. If you require advice or services in such areas, you should consult a qualified professional.

6.4. User’s Sole Risk

Your use of the Service, and any interactions with other users or third-party sites linked from us, is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries, damages or losses you may incur from using the Service or acting (or failing to act) on anything you read here.

6.5. Third-Party Content and Links

We may provide links or embeds to third-party websites, services, or materials (“Third-Party Content”). Such links do not imply endorsement, and we make no representation or warranty about any Third-Party Content. You access all such content at your own risk, and you should review the terms and privacy policies of those third parties before use.

6.6. No Liability for Errors or Omissions

Although we strive to keep our practice questions, explanations and guide up to date, there may be errors, omissions, or outdated information. We disclaim any liability for such mistakes and for any consequences arising from your reliance on them.

6.7. Limitation of Remedies

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the six (6) months prior to any claim, or (b) CAD 30.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the G1-Buddy website, including text, graphics, logos, images, is the property of G1-Buddy or its suppliers and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You agree to observe and abide by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes thereto.

You will not modify, publish, transmit, scrape, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. G1-Buddy content is not for resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and in particular you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. You will use protected content solely for your personal use, and will make no other use of the content without the express written permission of G1-Buddy. You agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any protected content. We do not grant you any licenses, express or implied, to the intellectual property of G1-Buddy or our licensors except if expressly authorized by G1-Buddy.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by G1-Buddy. G1-Buddy has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that G1-Buddy shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach the Terms. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any other reason at our sole discretion, such as to protect the integrity of our Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless G1-Buddy, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) relating to or arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site or services, any user postings made by you, your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third party, or your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations. G1-Buddy reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with G1-Buddy in asserting any available defenses.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and G1-Buddy regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements, oral or otherwise, regarding the Service.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

15. Electronic Communications

By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. These electronic communications may include notices about applicable fees and charges, transactional information and other information concerning or related to the Service. These electronic communications are part of your relationship with us and you receive them as part of your subscription.
